I Just Love it Here! Hola!! It was a fantastic week here in España!!! The sun was out for a couple days this week, which was a massive blessing  Turns out San Sebastián is actually a really beautiful city!!! I kinda wish somehow I could have the power of Moses and tell the rain to always stop here, because its incredible when the sun is out, I love it!!!! We had lots of amazing experiences this week!!! I've been able to talk pretty well, but the problem is it's so hard to understand Spanish here. I was super frustrated after a lesson earlier this week because i hate that i have to rely so much on my compan ion,  because i don't know what people say after i ask them a question. I was praying and studying the scriptures asking why the heck I was called to speak a language I don't know, when I so badly want to just share my testimony with people! The next day we had companion exchanges with the Zone Leaders in Bilbao,  and we were teaching someone who actua...

SPAIN & RAIN Hola everyone!!! How are you all doing??? It has been a crazy week!!! But I'm in Spain now which is insane!!!!!! (Let's see how many things I can get to rhyme with Spain ) I'll apologize in advance, this will be a long email:/ lo siento! (Also my mom made a blog where she uploads all my emails so you can check that out if you want, it's,   elderboden@blogspot.com  ) Spain is súper súper cool!!!! I'm in the Northest Part, San Sebastión,  so it rains 24/7 and is FREEZING 24/7!!!! SO FREAKING COLD!!!!! We have an amigo in France so that will be cool going to France!! My mission president and his wife are really really cool!!! Love them!!! I LOVE my companion!!! His name is Elder Toro, hes from Peru, but lived in Barcelona for a year before his mission, his dad lives 5 mins from the mission home   Hes a native Spanish speaker, so that's been helping me learn Spanish way better!!  San Sebastión is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! ...

Semana Seis!! Sleepovers and The Real World Hola Amigos!! Another fantastic week here at the great MTC!!! This week went by super fast, which surprises me considering it's been my final week in the MTC!  On Tuesday, We had our devotional. None of us really knew who the speaker was, kind of a no-name, i don't know if any of you have heard of him. His name was something along the lines of Elder Uchtdorf!! Holy cow, his talk was INCREDIBLE!! Just his presence gave us chills. He talked a lot about how we need to obviously put in work to receive blessings, but that we aren't perfect and that's okay. He said, "You don't need to be perfect, you just need to try!" His message was really really cool and encouraging to so many of us!! It was kind of funny, after it was over and he and his wife were walking out, they literally stopped and turned around to wave goodbye, probably 12 times. He didn't really want to leave! On Thursday, all of the missio...

Hola Amigos!! Another great week here at the MTC!! I can't believe today marks one month that I have been here!! That is crazy! Time has flown by here!! Something pretty cool that happened was last Sunday, our Branch President pulled Elder Van Wagenen and I aside and asked us if we would be the Zone Leaders! It was a big surprise, but it has been a lot of fun! We have 5 districts of about 10 people each in our zone. We got a new district this week, and it was a lot of fun meeting all of the new missionaries and giving them an orientation!! We are actually just about to sit down and put together the schedule for Sacrament and Priesthood meeting tomorrow! I'd say the biggest plus to being a Zone Leader however, is the fact that we are so cool we get to carry around a flip phone, that can't call, and can only receive calls from our branch president. Pretty cool i know.  This week was Halloween! Most of us totally forgot until we got to the cafeteria and saw about fiv...
