104 Days in Spain

Hola Hola!!!

This was a super fast week!! We were busy busy this week!!

We did exchanges with the Zone Leaders this week, it was a lot of fun! Elder Perry came here and my companion, Elder Peters, went to Alicante for the day. While we were out contacting, we were reminded of a good lesson. If you're going to use the contact approach of, "Hey, excuse me, do you know where i can find...?" Make sure that whatever thing you're asking for help finding isn't the building you're both standing in front of... Otherwise you just the, "Are you kidding me?" look... Go us😂

Here's a really cool story from this week!! The other night, we got a call from an unknown number. We answered and the person introduced himself as Conner, and that he lives in Scotland, but is visiting here for a few days on vacation and would love to meet with us! We met at a Burger King, not entirely sure of what to expect, but it turns out he is a 15 year old kid who has been investigating the church for 6 months, and has probably one of the strongest testimonies of anyone i've met before. He's the only person in his family interested in the gospel and so his parents are making him wait until he's 16 before he can be baptized, but basically he just wanted to make sure that the spirit was with him even while he was on vacation, so he wanted to meet with us!! What an inspiration!! He's a great guy, and I am truly so so excited to see pictures of him dressed in all white!(:

Interesting fact about Spain: There isn't peanut butter here. They have something similar, but it's nowhere near the same, and even then, it's hard to find. The other night, we were having a Family Home Evening with some members and after having too much dinner, they brought out these little peanut butter and jelly treats. Needless to say, my companion and I were in Heaven...

Our Mission President visited our branch and gave a really good talk in Sacrament yesterday!! He's such an incredible man, and the spirit just radiates off of him!! The topic of his talk was these three questions:
1. Why is it so important to be a member of the Restored Church of Jesus Christ?
2. Why are there changes in the church if it's supposed to be the church of an Unchanging God?
3. Why isn't the leadership in the church perfect, and what should I do if I don't agree with some of the things that other people are doing?

He had really good, in depth answers to each of these questions, but I'm curious to what you all think about these questions. I think these are three principles that are very important that everyone truly understands, and I also know that there is more than just one answer as well, so let me know what you guys think!!!

I am so grateful for my mission, there truly is nothing better on the Earth, than the work of The Lord!! Also, a good reminder to please pray for all the missionaries in the Cambodia Phnom Penh Mission, Singapore Mission, Thailand Bangkok Mission, the Mongolia Ulaanbaatar Mission, and the South Korea mission, where because of the Corona Virus, basically cannot leave their houses at all.

Que tengáis una buena semana!! Os quiero a todos!!(:
