Gospel Brings Blessings



Hola hola!

Another week gone by crazy fast!!

This week we met with Ricardo. He had been meeting with the missionaries for a whole like 4 months ago and then dropped all contact with us. He had really bad cancer and thought he was going to die 2 months ago so he had to take care of a bunch of things. Well he contacted us and we met with him, he's super amazing! He's had such a hard life and is also convinced that his girlfriend is possessed with devils, so we met with her and she seems fine, just someone who's a little negative and missing direction in her life, but willing to learn!!! 
We ended up committing Ricardo to try and quit smoking, he smokes about 4 packs every day, and we took all his cigarettes last night and he was super excited!! 

Wow I just can't describe the look in someone's eyes when they're starting to see the light and the love of Christ in their life! It's so interesting to me how willing people are to break habits they've had their whole life just out of faith and then seeing how many blessings they receive!  

He has so much faith and is willing to do whatever he can to follow Jesus Christ!!!

Gosh this gospel is incredible,  my invitation this week is to tell someone why you're a member of the church. What blessings has the gospel brought into your life?(:

We got word from our Mission President yesterday that we have to buy 2 weeks worth of food because the chance of being quarantined in piso and not being able to leave, is getting a lot higher. So that's awesome🤙😬

It's a Great Day to Be a Missionary!   Hello hello hello!!!  Just one thing... I love God and Jesus Christ!!! Being able to show other people how much God loves them each day is seriously the best thing ever!!! Week 29 -- April 27, 220

Serve Someone Hola hola hola!! Mission time is very weird, I've been inside, without being able to leave for anything other than groceries every two weeks, for the past 43 days, and I can't decide if it has flown by or if it's felt like 443 days. I think both. I found myself every day this week really just counting down days until Preparation Day,  and now that it's here, I felt like the week FLEW by!  I also did the math, 20 percent of my mission I have been inside this apartment without being able to leave, that's pretty cool that I have been able to have such a different opportunity than so many missionaries in the history of ever!!  Everyone, here's something I've really learned during this time, and I've still got a whole long way to go before I'm perfect but here it is. October 4 -- Week 104

2 years and 2 days as a missionary   Wow! Two days ago I hit two years in the mission! THAT'S CRAZY!!!  It has been a LONG week! A lot of crazy and stressful things happened. There was a day this week where it just seemed like anything that could have possibly gone wrong, did!  By the time night came around, we were exhausted, stressed, and wanted nothing more than to just go home and sleep. We had a District Council that I will probably never forget. We were all just talking about Jesus Christ, and how important He really is in our lives. He is our Savior, He died on the cross for us, He loves us and cares about us so perfectly and individually!  We have experienced some really tender experiences this week. My testimony and love for Jesus Christ has grown so much! He stays true to His promise, "I will not leave you comfortless."  I love my Savior! Also, wow, General Conference... Just incredible!
