Two Monthsss!


Hey hey hey!!

This week we hit the two-month mark for how long we have been in quarantine! That's kind of crazy, I am so so blessed to still be here in Spain!! 

Not a ton happened and I'm running out of time to write this email, so it'll be a short one!!

One of the Hermanas' dad is an institute teacher at UVU, so we had a zoom call fireside with the whole mission last night! It was really amazing!! We talked a lot about the reason that God restored His gospel in 1820 through Joseph Smith! It really is interesting just how much preparation really went into that!! I want to invite you all to listen to the incredible talk this devotional reminded me of, "Why 1820" by Hyrum Smith. It's a little old, but it is really really good!!!

Yesterday I pulled out my fancy camera, and had some fun, it's kind of impressive how much the default Samsung Gallery app can do!! 

I love you all and I know without a doubt in my mind that God did restore His church, we have His authority on the Earth today, and you all should study the new proclamation again. Find the things that seem to be obvious and well known information, and try to figure out why that was put in there right now and how it will help many for years to come!!

It's a Great Day to Be a Missionary!   Hello hello hello!!!  Just one thing... I love God and Jesus Christ!!! Being able to show other people how much God loves them each day is seriously the best thing ever!!! Week 29 -- April 27, 220

Serve Someone Hola hola hola!! Mission time is very weird, I've been inside, without being able to leave for anything other than groceries every two weeks, for the past 43 days, and I can't decide if it has flown by or if it's felt like 443 days. I think both. I found myself every day this week really just counting down days until Preparation Day,  and now that it's here, I felt like the week FLEW by!  I also did the math, 20 percent of my mission I have been inside this apartment without being able to leave, that's pretty cool that I have been able to have such a different opportunity than so many missionaries in the history of ever!!  Everyone, here's something I've really learned during this time, and I've still got a whole long way to go before I'm perfect but here it is. October 4 -- Week 104

2 years and 2 days as a missionary   Wow! Two days ago I hit two years in the mission! THAT'S CRAZY!!!  It has been a LONG week! A lot of crazy and stressful things happened. There was a day this week where it just seemed like anything that could have possibly gone wrong, did!  By the time night came around, we were exhausted, stressed, and wanted nothing more than to just go home and sleep. We had a District Council that I will probably never forget. We were all just talking about Jesus Christ, and how important He really is in our lives. He is our Savior, He died on the cross for us, He loves us and cares about us so perfectly and individually!  We have experienced some really tender experiences this week. My testimony and love for Jesus Christ has grown so much! He stays true to His promise, "I will not leave you comfortless."  I love my Savior! Also, wow, General Conference... Just incredible!
