Week 45 -- August 17, 2020

I Can Now Understand Why It Takes So Long For My Dad to Make The Family Videos!! 

Hey hey hey!!!


I don't have much time to write, but it was a really good week!! We got a lot done!!

Yesterday, after taking the Sacrament, I took some time to reflect on my personal goals and how I have grown. I think it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that being required to use my phone from 11am to 10pm, it isn't always easy to remain 100% productive always. It is definitely a struggle when your appointments all cancel on you, so you're expected to work and find people on Facebook for hours. It is soo easy to just get distracted watching some random video. One of my goals this transfer has been to really get better at only using my phone for missionary work and to not just mindlessly scroll on Facebook. Each Sunday, I have taken some real time to just reflect on how I progressed or what I needed to have done better during the week. Yesterday I realised how much The Lord has been helping me!! There's just my little humble testimony and reminder that sometimes we really need to just take a minute and report to The Lord how everything is going and ask how He thinks you're doing and what else there is to do!(:

I put together a video of about 60 youth of The Barcelona Stake each reciting a part of The Restoration Proclamation! Turns out, my dad is right when he says video editing takes freaking long! It was a 6 minute video, and took about 10 hours to complete after I had received all the videos!!! I'm sure a big part of that was only having a phone with access to a free app, but in the end, after lots of frustration, it is worth it!! The video turned out better than I could've ever wanted and the testimony that radiates off these children is amazing. It's in Spanish, but if you want to watch it, this is the link!(:

It's a Great Day to Be a Missionary!   Hello hello hello!!!  Just one thing... I love God and Jesus Christ!!! Being able to show other people how much God loves them each day is seriously the best thing ever!!! Week 29 -- April 27, 220

Serve Someone Hola hola hola!! Mission time is very weird, I've been inside, without being able to leave for anything other than groceries every two weeks, for the past 43 days, and I can't decide if it has flown by or if it's felt like 443 days. I think both. I found myself every day this week really just counting down days until Preparation Day,  and now that it's here, I felt like the week FLEW by!  I also did the math, 20 percent of my mission I have been inside this apartment without being able to leave, that's pretty cool that I have been able to have such a different opportunity than so many missionaries in the history of ever!!  Everyone, here's something I've really learned during this time, and I've still got a whole long way to go before I'm perfect but here it is. October 4 -- Week 104

2 years and 2 days as a missionary   Wow! Two days ago I hit two years in the mission! THAT'S CRAZY!!!  It has been a LONG week! A lot of crazy and stressful things happened. There was a day this week where it just seemed like anything that could have possibly gone wrong, did!  By the time night came around, we were exhausted, stressed, and wanted nothing more than to just go home and sleep. We had a District Council that I will probably never forget. We were all just talking about Jesus Christ, and how important He really is in our lives. He is our Savior, He died on the cross for us, He loves us and cares about us so perfectly and individually!  We have experienced some really tender experiences this week. My testimony and love for Jesus Christ has grown so much! He stays true to His promise, "I will not leave you comfortless."  I love my Savior! Also, wow, General Conference... Just incredible!
