Prayers Do Get Answered

Hola a todosssss!!!

It's been a really good week! I can't decide if it was a short or a long one.. It went by really fast, but feels like a long time since I wrote my last email.  Mission-time is weirdπŸ˜‚

Alright, but I just want to start by sharing a real miracle that we witnessed this week!! You know how God is awesome right? And how He always always always answers our prayers, but NOT always in the way we want/expect? Well this week, we were able to witness God answer our prayers in the exact way we were asking, and it the feeling of love was really special!
Soo to explain it, I think I have complained on here before, but residency in Spain Is IMPOSSIBLE!!!😡 It has been an absolute mess and a ton of work and stress lately just trying to keep our missionaries here and legal! It was already bad before the pandemic, and I am sure you can imagine how the entire country shutting down for a few months would make residency appointments all backed-up! Well for the past 4 months, we've gotten a total of 4 residency appointments. Since I have been here, we've been trying everything to just get more appointments! We have everyone in the office working a large portion of the morning on it! The craziest thing is that all the Police/Residency stations are only open from 9am-2pm (from what I know, it has always been like that)!!!! 🀦🏼‍♂️
If there's anything I've been consistently praying and fasting for, it has been that these residency buildings would recognize the need to just extend their hours to be open just a little longer each day, so that I, and so many people in this country, could just do what's necessary to stay here!!
Wellll... after continuing each day without any success, this last week we have set 11 APPOINTMENTS!!!πŸ˜±πŸ˜±πŸ˜±πŸ™πŸ™πŸ˜± Seriously was shocked, 3 one day, 4 the next, and 2 yesterday morning!!! They literally changed their hours!!! They're now open from 9-2 and 3:30-9!!!!! That results in a TON of newly available appointments! I feel so blessed, after 5 months of being out of quarantine, and this process being open again, they finally opened up in the exact way that I had been praying for! I love My Heavenly Father, and I testify with my whole heart that He loves me and He loves you and each one of His children!!!😁😁❤❤

It was just a happy week overall! My trainer Elder Toro, finished his mission a couple months ago. He's from Peru, but a year before his mission, moved to Spain. He literally lives 15 minutes from the office!!! We went over and hung out with him the other night! He's an incredible guitarist and my companion is an incredible singer, so we all shared out talents as I sat behind the phone recording them playing and singing songsπŸ˜… it was really cool seeing him! My Mission President has emphasized a few times the importance of recognizing that the relationships we make in this life aren't just for this life, but eternal friendships, and I definitely have been able to see that with some people, Elder Toro es lo mejor πŸ™ŒπŸ‚

I love you all, please let me know if there's anything I can be praying about for you!(:
