Thankful

Hola hola hola!!!

Sorry for not being very consistent with these emails!! I'll definitely try to get better ahah!!!

How was your Thanksgiving!?!? I loved it so much this year, is was such a great day, and with the amazing video from President Nelson, the spirit of Thanksgiving was just magnified!!😁
I hope you all had a chance to watch that video and feel the powerful spirit, if not I truly invite you to do so! I think it's so important to have gratitude! Here on my mission, I have met and grown to love so many people who are so much less fortunate than I have been blessed to be all my life, and it's always these people, who are the best examples of gratitude! Just the humble prayer thanking God for a roof over their head, or just a plate of food in front of them, really gets to my heart! I am so grateful for my mission and the humbling experiences I have been able to have!😁

It was a really good day, a lot better than last year, where we didnt have any celebration at all, it was just a normal day!
But this year, our Mission President basically just said, have fun! And so we went and played spikeball on the beach and watched the sunset, played a ton of games, the Hermanas came over and we decorated the office, and then ate a TON of food! I had dinner rolls!!😱 I hadn't had rolls in over a year! Afterwards, we played a ton of card games and watched The Chosen over ZOOM with the whole mission. It was just a fun day Hahah!😁

I am grateful for a God of Miracles, because this week, I was able to witness a miracle, seeing God's love truly bring a change of heart to one of His daughters!😁
There's a really faithful member here named Nuria who lives in an Old person's residency. She introduced us to one of her friends, Mari, who also lives there a while ago, and she's getting baptized in a few weeks! Two weeks ago, we went to go visit Mari and Nuria, and Nuria told us, "Hey sorry, Mari can't come today, but I brought my other friend, Gloria!!" Gloria is awesome, has a ton of questions, hasn't had lots of good experiences with religion in her life, and even met with the missionaries many years ago, and ended up telling them to never come back again. Welllllllll, a few days ago, we met with her, and witnessed a miracle,  the pure change of heart that Christ talks about. As we taught her the plan of Salvation, we could just feel the amazing amount of peace and love that filled our hearts! After explaining Baptisms for the dead and a little about Family History, and following the prompting to tell her that she has thousands of ancestors waiting on her and who are so happy that she's progressing and learning about God's plan, she has the responsibility to help them, she told us, "So when can I get baptized!?!?! I have made up my mind!!!" WE WERE SHOCKED!!!! God is so so amazing wow(:

I am thankful for all of you! Let me know if I can do anything at all! Have an amazing week!(:
