Week 77 -- April 5, 2020
Alrightttttt!!! How is everyone doing?!
Back to Being a Normal Missionary!!
I have now been outside the office for two weeks! I have been living it up in Lleida! I am absolutely in love with this city!!!π€© I loved Barcelona, and feel so fortunate to have had so much time there, but it is so nice to be in a MUCH smaller, quieter, calmer city! In Barc, we drove EVERYWHERE! (If I thought driving in downtown SLC was rough, I'll be pro when I get home
) Here in Lleida however, we live right in the center and almost everyone in the ward and that we are teaching lives in the main city, so we walk EVERYWHERE!!! I normally had around 3000 steps a day (sitting in an office chair from 9am to 9:30pm) Checking my smartwatch, today I have walked 12,737 steps! Soooo yeah, my legs are sore, it is so good though!!
I was honestly worried about how the change would be. I thought it would be a dramatic change, but it's been fairly easy! It's definitely weird having free time and having to find stuff to fill it with, but my companion is amazing and we have been working really diligently together!!
My companion's name is Elder Lozano, he is from Buenos Aires, Argentina!!! (Where my dad served his mission!) He is very quiet but is really fun and I truly admire the amount of love he has for everyone!

We had a great Easter! I made some AMAZING Cinnamon rolls! I am almost catching up to my mom's quality
! Sadly however, my kitchen abilities were humbled when I grabbed a hot pan and burned 3 of my fingers
️
Here's a cool little miracle, we wanted to invite as many people as possible to watch General Conference, so I just texted as many people as I had contacts yesterday morning and said, "Happy Easter!!
π₯
" To my surprise, I got 72 responses, and was able to invite many to watch Conference and hear God's Prophet and Apostles! Okay and now that's another topic.... HOW AMAZING WAS CONFERENCE?!?!?!! I loved every second of it! I think this was the first time it finished, and I thought to myself, "What?? That's all? That went so fast!" There were so many times God just spoke to me on such a personal level and i just broke into tears! I love God(:
Elena, a member in my second area Benidorm, who was baptized last year right after the heavy quarantine was lifted, sent me a message last night expressing similar feelings! She explained that she watched it all and couldn't stop herself from crying! She thanked me on a very personal level for having helped her to get on this path and to feel God's love! That touched my heart so much! That is why I am here! My invitation this week for everyone is to just find someone that you can show love to, and do it!
I love all of you! If you need anything at all, let me know!!(:

Pictures: (I have a lot more, but my phone keeps deleting them, idk why π€¦πΌ♂️)
1. Apparently Lleida is famous for eating Escargot
2. Really cool walk we went on this morning!!
3. Painted a room for a lady!
4. The only restaurant open in Spain on a "holiday": Burger King! (The "holiday" of today is just celebrating a cake you are supposed to eat the day after Easter
