Week 82 -- May 10, 2021
Spiritual Moments On Top of a Castle
Heyyyy everyone!!!
Butttttt we generally just speak in Spanish
He is so awesome, we have sooo many
It's been a really good week here in Lleida!!
We were super busy! It was awesome! We've
seen recently that sooo many people have been cancelling on us during the week, but this
week, almost no one cancelled!! #blessings
Transfer News:
My Argentine companion, Elder Lozano got transferred, which was sad, and Elder Montoya
came here!! He is from Sevilla, Spain, but his family is in the process of actually moving to
Utah! So he went to Pleasant Grove High School for a year!! He speaks really good English!
things in common, and he is really humble and willing to learn and to work hard, we've been
seeing blessings here!
Saturday night, we met with our amiga, Annie on top of the massive castle in Lleida!
We
walked around for like 30 minutes just talking and looking around (adding "walking casually
around castles from the year 1200" to my list of "Things I'll miss about Spain that don't exist in
any part of The US
). After a while, we went to the top and sat down and started talking
about the gospel! She is someone who's struggled quite a bit, and she said so many things that
really touched my heart. It is so amazing to see how God has been helping her and leading her
to follow Him and how she met the missionaries at such a precise time in her life!
We talked
about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the 5 steps we all need to follow to keep on His path!
(Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Gift of the Holy Ghost, Endure to the End) and invited her to
really think about where she is on these steps, and what is stopping her from progressing!
It was really cool, it made me reflect a little bit about where I am on these steps. Of course I
have been baptized and have received the gift of The Holy Ghost, but I think there are times in
our lives where we are still stuck on the faith, or repentance, or being worthy of the Holy Ghost.
It's been a good way for me to help find what I need to change and how I can become better!!
In EXCITING NEWS, Yesterday was the last day of the National State of Alarm in Spain!!
Please pray that that means we will be able to get new missionaries soon!!

Love you all, have an amazing week! π€
