No Hay Coincidencias

 Holaaaaaaa cómo estáis??

These last two weeks have been BUSYYYYYYYY!!! I'm loving it!!!! Between a First-Ever in person Mission Conference and welcoming a new Mission President, we haven't had time to even think about being bored!!!😅

The mission conference was seriously so amazing! Having so many people together was such a powerful experience! Something that really touched my heart was when we all stood up and, arms around eachother, sang our mission hymns! Tears were definitely falling down my face and soaking my mask😅 It was so hard to day goodbye to President and Hermana Galli, they have both been such amazing influences to me and have taught me a lot about how to love others, how to be a Christlike leader, how to love the scriptures and so much more!

Things got even crazier however the day after the conference when we picked up President and Hermana Villar from the airport! President Villar Is a General Authority and has served in the South America South Area presidency for about 7 years! Each day this week, I have spent hours and hours in meetings with them, and I have learned so much and have already developed such a love for these amazing people who have truly left everything to serve the Lord and His children!

I feel so blessed to be able to finish my mission in such a unique and special way! It definitely is not easy, we literally have not had even one free hour in the past two weeks, but wow I am learning so much and loving it!

The Title of this email comes from a teaching from Hermana Villar in our Mission Leadership Council we had yesterday. "No hay Coincidencias" translates to, "There are not coincidences" That has to be one of the most important lessons that I have really learned throughout my mission. God is in charge and His plan is perfect! This morning we met with a family who shared such a powerful testimony of this principle with us! Everything about them seems like a crazy coincidence! For example:
1. The sister of a senior missionary who served here passed us their information
2. The son is suffering a bone disease that can only be treated in Barcelona so they recently moved here from Hong Kong. They requested that we meet in the church to give him a blessing. They live in the only apartment building that happens to be literally NEXT to the church!
3. He has actually traveled many times to SLC for work!
4. He is originally from the only city in India that I know much about, Mumbai, which happens to be where my dad has traveled to many times!
All these things are just crazy! It seems like just a a crazy coincidence! I'll share a little bit about what he shared with us this morning. We asked him what he knew about faith, and he went on to explain his testimony that God has a plan and His plan is perfect! He explained that he knows that God is only letting his son suffer because he has a much better plan and future in mind. He shared his goals to help other children who suffer from this and said, "if through this experience, we can help some other family going through something similar, this is all worth it."

I know this is true. I know that God is in charge. The difficulties in life are not taking Him by surprise! I know God loves us and I testify of My Saviors words when He says,  "27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

God loves you and He is in charge, be patient and trust Him!(:

Happy 4th of July!
